HORSE FOR SALE

Well it's the yearly Montana fishing trip so obviously it is also time for THE HORSE TO GET OUT! Every.Single.Time

Leaves on Thursday, horse out on Friday. Wake up Saturday, horse is out again. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Well I think I can now add fencing to my resume. I lowered the fence (barbed wire no less) in a couple spots and he hasn't gotten out since.

Today I came home at lunch to make sure the horse is still in...he rules my life now...and he is limping badly. Now what??? I go out to look at him, not getting too close of course, he is a lot bigger than me and in pain. I can't see anything wrong. All afternoon I'm worrying that the horse is going lame and I'm doing nothing about it. I talk to Jenny, she says she'll go look at his foot. That's right, I'll sacrifice my daughter to the large horse in pain;) Between Jenny and Steve they found a cut, no big deal apparently (who knew??) and by the time I got home from work he wasn't limping as bad.

So, I wonder what other kinds of horse mischief old Custis can get into this week. Surely I'm not off the hook yet.

Oh yeah, and Bacca ran away again. This is after spending $600 at the vet on him last week. You'd think I'd learn to put him on a chain. Well he didn't get far this time and he'll be on the chain from now on.

The only other fun I've had is having Haylee spend the night! She is a sweetie. I love her! She woke up at

4 a.m. throwing up!!!!!!!!

Moral of the story: Don't ever let your husband go fishing in Montana again!
