So the deal is this, I just have to write 10 honest things about myself. Honest and somewhat surprising or entertaining. After my 10, I get to tag people. So here goes......
1. I love, love, love my family! I love spending time with them together or individually. Our trip to Hawaii was such a delight for me. It was perfect that we could all experience the island of Maui together for the first time. I guess that shouldn't be so surprising or entertaining, but it does deserve the #1 spot.
2. I could NOT have been a pioneer. I REALLY think about that sometimes. On the other hand, Dennis could have been...which leads me to believe our marriage wouldn't have been as "smooth" in the olden days! Cooking, plowing, planting, canning, sewing, mending, baking. Give me some store bought bread and the internet!
3. For growing up a "city" girl...I LOVE to go camping. I never camped until I moved to Utah! Camping for us is much nicer now with a travel trailer, but we did camp for years in a tent. I love going to Beaver Creek, watching Dennis and the kids fish, play on 4-wheelers, hike. I love "camping food" (and I especially love that Dennis cooks most of it!). It is so beautiful in our Rocky Mountains.. ...what could be more fun..and maybe it is a little pioneerish...hehe.
4. I LOVE SHOES! Always have, always will. I've started to love purses just about as much as shoes....but not quite;)
5. I know working out is good...I do it...I talk myself into going...then I talk myself into staying. What is this endorphin high everyone talks about?? I went 4 times this week...woot!
6. Our dogs are family. I love them. I talk to them. I talk for them...they are too funny! They have such unique personalities. I even love Mia and she has bitten me twice.
7. I enjoy going to see my family in Ohio...do I enjoy Ohio? No, not too much, BUT i do miss my family and like to spend time with them. I like that I still keep in touch with high school friends. It is great to see them, talk to them, IM with them, FB with them. The internet has really "connected" me to Ohio better in the last few years.
8. I think my favorite vacation was our Oregon trip...that's right not Hawaii, but Oregon. I loved everything about the Oregon Coast!
9. I don't like heights...windy, twisting mountain roads running along rivers, not my thing! Looking over edges? into canyons? No thanks. Long bridges? tunnels? No Way! I've covered my eyes/cowered on the floor more than once. Dennis: "What do you see down there?"......arggggggg!
10. I really detest birds! Eeek....hate them. Hummingbirds..ok, geese in the sky..ok, crazy turkey on the highway...quite funny actually, all other birds..........ICK!I tag Jenny, Trisha, Ally, Stacey, Shayna, Carol, Karla, Angie
